On this tour, we'll travel from Quito through the Andean valley to Cotopaxi National Park, where we'll stop for breakfast at a cozy spot with a direct view of the volcano.
We'll then enter the National Park and hike around Limpiopungo Lagoon,
observing the unique flora and various bird species that inhabit the lagoon.
Weather permitting, and if you're feeling adventurous and enjoy hiking,
we can continue to the parking area at the foot of the volcano and
then begin the ascent to the first refuge.
This experience will allow you to experience a variety of climates in just one day,
from the temperate climate of Quito to the cold and icy conditions of the volcano.

According to a law passed by the Ecuadorian Ministry of the Environment,
tourists wishing to reach the base of Cotopaxi Volcano must hire local guides
who have their own vehicles suitable for the terrain.
